Grace and Mercy

We all need this! And we all needed this! If it had not been for His grace, I would be 6 feet under, with a pile of dirt on me! But thanks be to God, that we have a mediator the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5). I thank God that when we mess up, the blood of Jesus can still cover it. That I may be on the wrong side of Cavalry for a bit, but I can be on the other side with just a simple prayer mixed with simple faith. There is absolutely nothing that you can do, that God cannot forgive (except blaspheme against the Holy Ghost, but very little have done that). God is just one prayer away, He is just one cry away, all you have to do is call on him. It can be in the morning, in the noontime or the middle of night, but He is always up and will always listen to you. There is an old song that says "Jesus is on that mainline call Him up, call Him up, call Him up and tell Him what want." He is a great God! He is a loving God! He is a caring God (1 Peter 5:7)! God loves you so much! All He wants from you is to just be an empty vessel! A vessel that can be filled up and used. One that loves and serves Him. However, if you fall, if you mess up... that's alright don't worry about it, just get right back up and keep going. Just ask for forgiveness, cast down that pride, bring yourself to an altar and say to God I refuse to do that again I am done with that! Mean it too! God wants commitments! There is a great scripture for if you fall:

Rejoice not against me, O mine enemy: when I fall, I shall arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD shall be a light unto me (Micah 7:8).

God loves you so much!

But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us (Romans 5:8).

He died on a cross for you, when you rejected Him, He was beaten, He was spat on, He was beaten to the point that His back looked like raw hamburger meat, but He did all that so that you can be forgiven that you can live in grace, so that you can have peace that surpasses your understanding (Phillipians 4:7). So that you can live above sin and that you dont have to live in the sin that you are in. God forgives! But sometimes its harder for us to forgive ourselves than for God to forgive us.

Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in the time of need (Hebrews 4:16).

This means that we can be sure that when we ask for grace and forgiveness from God we can get it and it is easy as long as we have confidence that we can get it. Here are some other scriptures on grace. Don't ever think you can't go to God because of something you did. Don't think you can't go back to God because of what you did! God forgives and He loves you!

Psalm 84:11
For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will givegrace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

John 1:17
For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
